Let's face it, nobody likes to be told what to do. Therefore, a coach is only effective if he/she can simultaneously contribute both a pure listening and an honest dialogue that together allow people to come to their own conclusions about the best course of action. Ileana's coaching has little to do with suggesting you do something specific (although she won't hesitate to have an ordinary conversation with you). Fantastic speech, I love this woman! There seems to be such a level of compassion and understanding, no wander her writing has captivated millions (great marketing team as well).
ReplyDeleteAlso I am choosing to admit that my fear of failure has kept me in a dark, poor, loveless and pitiful state for way longer then any mistake and failed project.
I so needed to hear this speech today.
